Product Description
Water Disinfection through UV-Light and Ultrasound
AquaTriLight™ is a system for purifying and treating liquids, in particular water.
AquaTriLight™ was developed specifically for the disinfection of drinking water.
The concept is ideally suited for Legionella prophylaxis and waste water treatment. The system can be adapted to the individual needs of the customer. It is available in flow rates from 10m³/h to 8.000 m³/h.
Disinfection is accomplished by means of ultraviolet light. The DNA of the microorganisms is damaged permanently, making replication impossible. Exposure to intensive nearfield radiation with ultrasonic waves generates intense cavitation power which in turn breaks through the germ cell walls and dissolves micro-organism agglomerates. Host cells and especially legionella are almost completely destroyed and can therefore be reached much more effectively by UV-light.
Incorporating UV-light and ultrasonic waves in one system combines the advantages of both of these technologies in a unique and innovative way until now. In addition to damaging the microorganisms, the ultrasound has a further significant advantage. It constantly cleans the casing tube of the UV-lamps and the reactor walls. This allows maximum maintenance intervals and a long lifetime. The patented layout of the sound generators produces a strong composite field, providing a more effective UV-passage.
The ever-clean surface of the AquaTriLight™ UV casing tube leads to exceedingly high performance during its entire operating life. Traditional UV-disinfection systems generally have a much lower performance level than our apparatus. AquaTriLight™ with a flow rate of 10m³/h has been certified according to ÖVGW and TÜV Süd.
